Texas Bicycle Accident Kills Teenager

A 16-year-old riding his bicycle in Keller, Texas was killed after he was hit by a pickup truck. The bicycle accident happened on Thursday October 18th on Rufe Snow Drive.

The Keller teen was heading south when he collided with a Ford truck heading east on Chase Oaks Drive. The 19-year-old driver, also of Keller, said he did not see the bicycle crossing the intersection.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital. His injuries were too extensive and the doctors could not save him. The accident is being investigated by the Keller Police Department and no charges have been filed.
